MOT testing and repairs
MOT tests can be carried out anything up to one month before the expiry date on your existing MOT certificate. The current MOT certificate for your vehicle will need to be presented to the examiner at the time of the MOT test.
After passing the test, your vehicle will receive a new certificate valid from the expiry date displayed on the current MOT certificate.

Law
Any UK car over 3 years old requires a valid MOT certificate.

What's involved?
An MOT is an annual test that ensures your vehicle meets the minimum road safety standards. You are able to stay and view the MOT test. Should you choose to stay and view the test, you should refrain from distracting the examiner.
Only an approved Vehicle Inspectorate approved tester can carry out an MOT test.

Commercial MOTs
Commercial MOTs have the same process as the MOT test for the class 4 and class 7 vehicles; but isn’t carried out on the Badgers Vehicle Repairs premises. However arrangements can be made for them to be carried out through VOSA.
